Many cringe then quickly run away when they see the words, "Internet Marketing," and it's no wonder with what goes on in marketing circles these days.
I'm in North America where citizens are consumer-oriented (nice way of saying we're wasteful, geared for SHOPPING, consuming things and our mind-set is stuck in "get stuff" mode), we have been indoctrinated into believing in an unhealthy work ethic (you WILL be rewarded when you WORK hard), participating in unhealthy work patterns (9-5 for 35 to 45 years then HOPE to retire with some savings money), and things are generally going downhill concerning concepts of quality of life, reasonable work spaces, disparity between the wealthy and poor...
As more people REALIZE the things above, they have turned to (in North America and ALL OVER, too) online activities in efforts to create financial security, wealth - money and careers.
Unfortunately, when one first turns to online earning methods, they are confronted with the following:
- Constant Up-selling
- Free (and minimal) Reports
- Free (and useless) Reports and Blueprints
- Free (with forced pay SOON or "get out") Trials
- Limitations for trial members or free members
- Upgrade Requirements
- Hype, Jargon and downright fabricated success claims
- Cover psychological terminology and text content
- Spam content
- Scams
- Too Good To Be True JUNK
This list could go on for pages and pages of internet text content and I could spend DAYS adding to the bullet list above but I think the message is already quite clear as it is presented in brief!
It is no wonder at all WHY people are hestitant to get involved in Internet Marketing and that, very quickly, Internet Marketing becomes a nasty term to type, speak, read, and hear, with two very dirty words that most people attempt to AVOID as if they are evil.
If you HATE Internet Marketing, let me tell you... you are BRILLIANT, and have every single RIGHT TO try to avoid it - when this means avoiding all of the details in the list above. It is extremely HEALTHY to be wary of Internet Marketing schemes and to run headlong into them without thinking is, perhaps, the worst thing one can do.
If you believe the words, "Internet Marketing" are dirty, bad words, then CONGRATULATIONS... you've ended up in the right place!
I seek to expose scams, the covert psychology behind internet marketing schemes and deliver information on programs that DO WORK on this blog. Of course the latter are typically buried in the hoardes and piles of dirty programs online, but I'll do my best to give clear instructions here so you can tell the difference between crap marketing and decent programs/sites.
