What Works

A lot of things WORK for earning money online. On the topic of "What Works?" I get pretty ticked off when viewing most ads and marketing online because so many ad pages have paid, cheesy actors or voice-overs of guys and gals telling us all that "THIS ONE THING IS THE THING" that works and that nothing else will work for bringing in money for earning efforts online.

That's just a bunch of hype and B.S. (yes, brown sugar)!

Although the 10K Challenge focuses on some very targeted methods of earning for online members, even this program utilizes a number of different kinds of sites/methods (Income Streams). If we just sent out a bunch of emails to our contact list, we'd alienate our friends and acquaintances. If we sent ads out in just Safelists but never stayed in contact with our contacts or referrals, we'd not have success either. If we just viewed Text Ad Exchange ads all day and placed ads in just those kinds of sites, we'd be fooling ourselves about expecting to experience success with earning online with this program. There are training programs, link trackers, and basically enough multiple income streams in this program that one is really required to do lessons inside the dashboard area. The biggest bonus for me about 10K Challenge is the lessons... they're super easy! The next pleasant surprise within the 10K Challenge is the CHECKLIST... I have to be sick and not log on at all to fail with this program 'cos if I log in, get busy in very clearly outlined activities - I get everything necessary for promoting all done in about 35-45 minutes and then I can do whatever else I want (lately, whatever else has meant research and writing).

Sites that served me well in the past as income sources are now also advertising sources for my links and primarily my ONE 10K Challenge link.

Writing on specific sites and on blogs with Adsense on them creates passive income. I don't always have to write on the specific sites. If people visit my content, I still get paid - even though some of the content has been sitting for a few months.

I can't write about my incremental income programs on sites with Adsense on them, so I keep a blog or two around with Adsense disabled - on free space - to promote my little earning programs (Let me tell you, the referral base is hard to get and keep with these programs...I mostly earn through my own efforts and don't rely on referrals).

Without regularly upgrading or using paid membership levels in Traffic Exchanges, I have not earned much or had much success - or reasonable results with this type of site, so I'll not write too much about Traffic Exchanges. Oh, I know they're all over the place online and almost all are free to join - but there is a LOT of unproductive time spent behind manual exchange surfbars and the better way to play a numbers and traffic game is to use safelists. They are less distracting and more effective at free levels of membership.

I gained over a half dozen referrals from free safelist accounts and ALSO gained safelist account referrals at the same time using the safelist methods in The 10K Challenge program. Basically, the 10K Challenge multiple income streams are the items that others need to use to promote themselves and their programs - with excellent instructions for using absolutely every marketing item to its full extent. These referrals and training are possible with about 35 minutes to an hour's worth of work per day. To have this kind of success with Traffic Exchanges has always required that I upgrade, spend money on credits, or... well, honestly, I haven't even generated this many referrals from paid TE services, so I will quit talking about them almost entirely now...

Save for...

PTP, PTR, and PTC Friendly Traffic Exchanges... I LOVE THESE and will always stick by these programs.

WHY?
Because when someone views a link I put in a PTP/PTR/PTC-Friendly exchange, I get paid for the visitor viewing my link. A person may sign up/join the offer on the page I promoted or not. It doesn't matter - I still get paid for sending a visitor to my link...

Most Traffic Exchanges do NOT allow these links, so the only success you can have with most TEs is in referring other members who pay and upgrade and for someone to respond exactly the way you hope they will to the page you promote (usually a purchase or signup with confirmation). A few TEs have small incremental earnings for 1000 pages surfed and I appreciate THESE TEs but overall I list them with my "incremental earning programs." They pay at around the same rate my PTR/PTP/PTC programs are paying out.

To summarize here, these are the programs that work for me and that I am currently being paid to use, promote:

  • PTP/PTR and PTC-Friendly cash surf option Traffic Exchanges
  • PTP Programs (Paid to Promote page sites like WhatStuff co.uk)
  • PTR Programs (Paid to read like Donkeymails)
  • PTC Programs (Paid to Click like Clixsense, NeoBux)
  • Article Sites (visit my profile: mythbuster on HubPages)
  • Blogs: (Urban Legends/Folklore Blog that goes with my HubPages persona)
  • The 10K Challenge
  • Link Shorteners to maximize getting paid for link promotion
  • Occasional physical item sale on Amazon/eBay via HubPages/blogs

First I use the incremental earning programs for small amounts of cash. I store the payments in online payment processors to use for upgrades in programs with a better cash return for participation. Once my incremental cash programs are bringing in a certain amount, I just keep participating (stop spending too much time promoting these because referrals are hard to keep active with these programs) so that I always have at least a trickle of funds going to my payment processors. I spend the Seed Money on "Seeds" like the 10K Challenge, occasional cheap, cheap, cheap-affordable (not cheap quality) advertising specials at PTR/PTC sites, and keep on moving forward with promoting.

I have to say, promoting has been easier in the last few months since I took up the challenge. I used to work a LOT more hours and a LOT harder to try to get PTR refs but I don't need to rely on referrals from these programs anymore!

If you're interested in the 10K Challenge but are really and truly strapped for cash, get in contact with me. You can go the "Seed Money/Incremental Funds" route in order to get yourself set up nicely in your 10K Challenge. Trust me. I did it, using little earning programs. Likely you can get moving forward in the same way, too!
